Dishonored 2 Gets First Gameplay Trailer, Collector’s Edition Announced

Arkane Studios’ upcoming highly anticipated Dishonored 2 received its first ever gameplay trailer today during Bethesda Softworks’ E3 2016 press conference.

This time around players will be exploring Karnaca, a city created entirely by the developer using a custom engine called the Void Engine. A sad story shrouds Karnaca, the city is burdened with the blood of innocents and tyranny of vile rulers. Ironically, Karnaca is still referred to as the “jewel of the South” inside the game’s world.

Dishonored 2 will allow players to choose between both Corvo Attano, returning protagonist, and Emily Kaldwin, daughter of the slain Empress who we rescued in the first game. Both feature distinct personalities and characteristics, along with unique set of tools and abilities that pave way to different gameplay styles.

Bethesda has confirmed that similar to the first game, players in Dishonored 2 will be able to complete missions in more than one way. In fact, the game will encourage players to explore the surroundings before each mission to discover anything new to help with the objective at hand.

Elsewhere, a collector’s edition was announced for the game which comes with a replica of Corvo’s mask and Emily’s ring. You can get a preview of it below:
