Titanfall 2 Multiplayer Trailer Makes Its Debut, Promises “Deep” Gameplay

Electronic Arts’ EA Play event kicked off a couple of hours ago by releasing a new Titanfall 2 trailer to debut the upcoming game’s multiplayer portion.

The official blurb states that the sequel is going to deliver “best-in-class shooter gameplay” which is further going to be accompanied by deep gameplay mechanics. The Titans are of course back, and with more variety, each featuring unique abilities that are going to arm pilots with a new range of abilities and weapons. There are also going to be plenty of new customization options for players, as well as a robust progression system.

Titanfall 2 is scheduled for release on October 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A beta testing period has been confirmed to take place before that, where players will be given access to the multiplayer mode. Interested individuals can start registering themselves here.

In contrast to the first Titanfall game, Titanfall 2 is going to include a single-player campaign that can be played by players offline. EA is likely to talk more on the campaign mode this week.
