The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition Is Coming Sooner Than You Think

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting a Game of the Year Edition at the end of the month, CD Projekt RED has announced.

The bundle is going to include the base-game as well as both expansion packs: Hearts of Stone (October 2015) and Blood and Wine (May 2016). While The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt already offers more than hundred hours of epic gameplay time, the two expansion packs add another forty hours to the mix.

In addition to that, the Game of the Year Edition will also come with every add-on pack released so far. Since the game’s launch, the developer has given away a total of 16 free content packs, ranging from bonus missions to new armor and weapons.

Finally, you can expect the bundle to feature the latest updates for the game. Seeing the sheer scale of the world, it took the developer a number of updates to pin down troubling bugs and glitches. The Game of the Year Edition will be updated to the latest patch; thus, ensuring an amazing gameplay experience.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition is going to be priced at $49.99 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Note that “in select territories and sales channels,” the same bundle is going to be available as the Complete Edition. CD Projekt RED has confirmed that this is the same edition and interested fans shouldn’t think otherwise.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt received an enormous reception upon release. It was overwhelming to see just how far the studio had gone with its eye for detail. Against a controversy of downgrading for console parity, the game still looks amazing. In addition to the main storyline, even the side-missions are backed by enriched tales.

Unfortunately, Geralt’s adventures come to an end with the third installment. CD Projekt RED is moving on to other projects and for now has no plans to work on another Witcher game. That’s just more reason for RPG fans to play this game and experience the dark and emotional world penned down by the writers.
