New Slim PS4 Bundle Features Two Call of Duty Games

As an annual tradition of sorts, Sony is once again bringing an impressive Call of Duty PlayStation 4 bundle for the holiday season.

In an announcement made on the official PlayStation blog, the company unveiled plans for a new $300 bundle that includes the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy edition with a 500 GB model of PlayStation 4 Slim.

The Legacy edition features not only this year’s new Call of Duty installment but also Modern Warfare Remastered. The overhauled version of undoubtedly one of the best Call of Duty games in history is still unavailable for an independent purchase. Instead, interested players must acquire the more expensive editions of Infinite Warfare in order to gain access to Modern Warfare Remastered.

According to details shared with us, the new slim bundle will contain Infinite Warfare in physical form. However, Modern Warfare Remastered will be included as a digital download for owners. Before you go thinking you can sell the copy of Infinite Warfare, remember that the Infinite Warfare disc needs to be inserted in order to play the Call of Duty 4 remaster.

“This bundle is great for fans who have not yet experienced the grand-scale intergalactic battles of Infinite Warfare,” claimed Sony. “It’s also a fantastic opportunity to relive the iconic campaigns of one of the most critically-acclaimed games in Call of Duty history, with Modern Warfare Remastered.”

The $300 bundle also features the Terminal Bonus Map which transports players to the re-imagined version of the fan-favorite Terminal map from Modern Warfare 2.

Unfortunately, the bundle will only be available after Christmas. However, make sure to secure a unit for yourself with an early pre-order.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has been a controversial debate since its release. While many expressed disdain over it being a mere clone of the critically acclaimed Black Ops III, others weren’t too pleased in seeing Activision hold Modern Warfare Remastered hostage.
