Confirming recent rumors, Microsoft announced a new Forza Horizon 3 during its E3 2016 press conference today.

According to the publisher, the new installment in the series boasts the largest open-world ever created by developer Playground Games. Forza Horizon 3 will bring a four-player cooperative campaign mode, allowing players to burn rubber across Australia with their friends. Additionally, Microsoft promised that Forza Horizon 3 will feature the largest roster of cars ever seen in the Horizon series.

You don’t have to tear your shiny sports car on the harsh outbacks of Australia. The game will feature off-road racing with specified off-road vehicles. Considering that the Motorstorm series has been on a hiatus, this would be the closest option to go to for fans.

Forza Horizon 3 is scheduled for an official release worldwide on September 27 for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. This essentially marks the first time a proper Forza game has landed on the PC platform. Previously, Microsoft allowed for a Forza 6-spinoff Apex (Free-to-Play) which began its open beta just last month. These are truly exciting times for a video gamer to be alive in.
