It’s been just a week since the release of the Blood and Wine expansion pack for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt; CD Projekt RED, however, is already working to release a hefty patch that will address “all major issues” affecting the game.
According to Community Manager Marcin Momot, one issue being addressed in the upcoming patch is of the camera failing to lock onto enemies. While he didn’t provide any further details on what more fixes and changes the patch will bring, he did state that many widely reported problems will be finally taken care of.
It’s always commendable to see the polish developer work with so much zeal to provide top-tier support for its game. The last patch released for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was just before the launch of Blood and Wine on May 31. With the addition of new content, the arrival of some pesky bugs and glitches is always expected. CD Projekt RED, though, expects to squash all of them with one more update.
Blood and Wine is the second and last expansion pack for the critically acclaimed The Witcher 3. Even though it’s a DLC, the expansion adds around 30 hours of additional gameplay with the help of over 90 new quests and a brand new region that is almost the size of all of the Skellige islands put together.
CD Projekt RED is speculated to announce a new game at E3 2016 next week. It’s surely not another installment in the Witcher franchise since the developer has already confirmed that it does not intend to return with another Geralt adventure anytime soon. As for Cyberpunk 2077, the studio’s upcoming sci-fi RPG is in its early phases of development and a reveal now seems unlikely. We’ll see what the developer has been hiding up its sleeve soon enough.
