Officially announced this week, Ubisoft has now revealed that Watch Dogs 2 will release later this year in multiple forms. Interested fans have the opportunity to choose from at least six different Special Editions, each packed with various digital and physical items.
Deluxe Edition ($69.99)
Features the base game, and two “Deluxe Packs” that contain various customization options for your character, weapons, vehicles, and drones.
Gold Edition ($99.99)
Features all of the contents of the Deluxe Edition, as well as the Season Pass of the game. Ubisoft is yet to detail the contents of the Season Pass, but it has teased that Watch Dogs 2 has multiple expansion packs that are going to introduce bonus missions and additional gear to the game.
San Francisco Edition (Unknown)
Features all of the contents of the Deluxe Edition, as well as a Collector’s Box that comes bundled with a figurine of the game’s protagonist, Marcus. In addition to that, this special edition will net owners San Francisco-themed laptop stickers, lithographs, and a map of the San Francisco region.
Wrench Junior Robot Collector’s Pack (Unknown – Uplay Store Exclusive)
Buyers have the option of choosing between either the base game and the Deluxe Edition or just the Gold Edition, bundled with a 7.8-inch replica of an in-game robot that can be controlled using a special app on either an iPhone or Android smartphone.
Return of DedSec Collector’s Box (Unknown – Uplay Store Exclusive)
Features all of the contents of the Gold Edition, as well as the Marcus figurine, his scarf and hat, and a beautiful art book.
Note that pre-ordering any Special Edition will also get you access to an exclusive “Zodiac Killer” mission. Ubisoft is most likely going to bundle this mission with a future DLC, but purchasing the game early will get you access for free.
Ubisoft is all set to host its E3 2016 press conference this week, and where we’ll be hearing more about Watch Dogs 2. The game is scheduled to launch on November 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
