While hosting a Pokémon Go panel at the San Diego Comic-Con 2016, John Hanke, Chief Executive of Niantic Labs, revealed all three Team Leaders of the game.
This is the first time that we’re seeing their faces. Until now, all three had been showcased in silhouettes only. Team Valor (current best) is led by Candela, Team Mystic is led by Blanche, and Team Instinct is led by Spark.
During the same panel, Hanke also talked about new features for Pokémon Go. He cited Trading to be currently in development but said that it will only be released once the servers are deemed stable enough. There are already an insane number of players jumping on the servers on a daily basis. Having all of them swapping monsters around will probably be too much of a load on the already burdened server machines.
That being said, players should expect new Pokestop customization options, Pokémon Centers and more Pokémon to arrive sometime in the future.
While some analysts have predicted the craze to die in the next couple of months, Pokémon Go continues its rampage for world dominance. It is now officially the most downloaded app on the Apple App Store, clocking more downloads in the first week than any other app in history. The game continues dominating the digital sphere and forcing players to get off their couches and start socializing in the real world.
