It’s been 15 long years since Microsoft birthed the Xbox brand which has since then transitioned through three glorious generations of video games culture.
Celebrating its anniversary this week, the company recalls how the original Xbox console’s release carried a promise to create unique experiences. Microsoft has done well in fulfilling that over the years, utilizing the power of Xbox Live in creating beloved game franchises that are likely to live on for decades to come.
15 years is a long time, and with a bolstering consumer-base, here are some interesting statistics that the Xbox brand has amassed since its debut back in 2011:

Halo and Forza Motorsport are undoubtedly two of the biggest names housed by Microsoft. Considering that both titles were iconic in ushering an online era of games, the developers of the two series are celebrating the 15-year anniversary in their own ways.
343 Industries has confirmed that anyone who logs into Halo 5: Guardians between now and November 22 will receive a 15th Anniversary REQ Pack for free. It features consumable items for the game’s Warzone modes, as well as the Mark IV Gen 1 armor set which was worn by Spartan II during the Covenant War.
Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games are also getting in on the celebrations. A 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor with a custom anniversary livery is being sent out for all Forza Horizon 3 players. Additionally, Forza Horizon 3 VIPs will receive a bonus truck with an alternative Xbox 15th anniversary livery as well.
Two Rival events are being prepared for both Forza Motorsport 6 and Forza Horizon 3. There will also be a Bucket List Challenge in Forza Horizon 3 which players will find when they travel to the Pink Lakes Bucket List point in the game.
