Stardew Valley, the popular indie farming simulation role-playing experience, is getting a fancy physical Collector’s Edition on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
It will include a digital code to the official soundtrack, a condensed version of the gorgeous Stardew Valley Guidebook created by Kari Fry, a physical map of Pelican Town, and a disc version of the game itself.
The Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition will release on April 11 in North America for the low price of $29.99. It will hit shelves in Europe and the United Kingdom two days later.
Developed by ConcernedApe, Stardew Valley released in February last year through the Steam platform. In the months to follow, it was ported over to consoles. There was a Wii U version promised by the developer as well. However, that was delayed and ultimately scrapped in favor of a Nintendo Switch version.
The indie title has loads of activities for those who find solace in the role-playing genre. From farming to mining resources, fighting monsters to fishing and hunting, riding horses to romancing characters, exploring the countryside to uncovering secrets. The game has it all and which is why it’s one of the highly recommended games from 2016.
Stardew Valley has sold over 2 million copies and been nominated for various awards, including Best Debut for the GDC Awards in March. If you still haven’t bought a copy, make sure to do so now.
