Plenty of information continues to trickle down through unofficial sources regarding this year’s Call of Duty: WWII installment.

Earlier today, an alleged promotional poster of the game was posted online for everyone. It reiterates previous leaks that Call of Duty: WWII will feature the monumental amphibious Allied invasion of Normandy in what was dubbed as Operation Overlord. The war-ridden beaches will only be the starting point, and players will battle their way all across Europe through various iconic locations.

Experience classic Call of Duty combat, the bonds of camaraderie, and the unforgiving nature of war against a global power throwing the world into tyranny.

In addition, the promotional material also offers an insight over the single-player campaign. Call of Duty: WWII will tell the story of an “unbreakable brotherhood of common men fighting to preserve freedom” with lifelike visuals and great authenticity. As such, fans are cautioned to prepare for a journey that will be both intense and gritty.

As for the multiplayer, this year’s installment will feature the same signature fast-paced combat that Call of Duty is popularly known for. The multiplayer maps will be based on some of the most iconic locations from World War II, and give players access to the same weaponry from back then.

Most interestingly, Call of Duty: WWII will feature a co-operative mode with a standalone story campaign. “Call of Duty: WWII’s co-operative mode unleashes a new and original story. Play with your friends in this next-level standalone game experience full of unexpected, adrenaline-pumping moments,” teases the leak.

According to studio head and co-founder Michael Condrey, Sledgehammer Games invested a lot of time in researching these past two years. The goal was to make Call of Duty: WWII as accurate as possible, and reenacting every setting in accordance with historical evidence. Sledgehammer Games believes that it was successful in doing so.

Call of Duty: WWII is scheduled to release on November 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A worldwide reveal is confirmed to take place on April 26, at which we will hear more on the game’s story, features, and more.
