Friday The 13th: The game is a third-person horror, survival game where players have chance to play as teen counselor or for the first time as Jason Voorhees. The game takes place at Camp Crystal Lake, which mirrors the lake environment of Friday the 13th series.

The trailer highlights the key aspect of the game that is to either kill them all brutally while playing with Jason Voorhees or work together as a team of survivors and escape the nightmare. The game is essentially multiplayer-only experience at launch, as confirmed by developers. The single player content will be released later during Summers as add-on content. This is the only reason Friday The 13th: The game is a digital only across all platforms at launch.

Friday The 13th: The game

Since the game is based on multiplayer experience and is divided in two key aspects, to-survive or to-kill strategies, the possibilities become endless. You have a maximum freedom to use the environment, either to be stealthy and escape the nightmare or to use items and stop Jason from killing you, brutally. Freedom is all yours!

Friday the 13th: The game will cost you $40 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The physical copy owners will receive a digital key redemption of the game at launch.
