The stars have begun to align, following earlier rumors that Microsoft intends to unveil Project Scorpio later this week.
A couple of hours ago, retailer giant Amazon put up an official listing of Project Scorpio. At present, the subpage is empty and only contains information that we are already aware of.
The product description claims that Project Scorpio is “the most powerful console ever, with 6 teraflops of graphical processing power.” It also touts that the upcoming console is the first and only of its kind to provide “true 4K gaming” alongside support for hi-fidelity virtual reality.
The listing reiterates the fact that there will be no exclusive content for Project Scorpio. Every game and accessory released for Xbox One will work seamlessly with Project Scorpio. Though, in the case of the former, users will find added benefits in the form of higher frame-rates, graphical prowess, and such.
In addition, the listing also confirms that the console is looking to hit markets in fall during the shopping season.

Earlier today, Reagent Games went into action as well. Taking to Twitter, the developer announced that new information on Crackdown 3 is “on the horizon.” The statement matches previous rumors that Microsoft will be showcasing the game on Project Scorpio when it reveals the console.

Crackdown 3 is slated for a release later this year. It was supposed to arrive last year but was then pushed back because the developer need additional time. The game uses the power of the cloud and is in development for Xbox One and PC.
