Those who love to capture beautiful screenshots, know that Horizon Zero Dawn is receiving a new patch that will add more features to the photo mode.
Posting on the official PlayStation Blog, community manager Jeroen Roding revealed that new filters and poses for Alloy are being added.
“We are adding three new filters, the ability to show a grid, an option to add ‘greetings from’ to the image, the ability to select different poses for Aloy, select a facial expression and make her look into the camera”, he wrote. “We already created some images for you to get an idea of what we are adding and we cannot wait to see what you can do with these new additions.”
However, Patch 1.20 will not just contain the new photo mode features. The developer is also taking the opportunity to address several technical issues, including a few crashes that many players have been reporting in recent weeks.
The complete patch notes can be read here. You can expect the update to arrive sometime next week.
Last month, narrative director John Gonzalez weighed in his thoughts about how the team would approach a possible sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn. Yes, the massive success of the game has confirmed that Sony will be treating it as a franchise. The developer is already brainstorming ideas for the second game, and it includes bringing in “more machines” and a similar storyline that is just as deep, if not deeper.
Horizon Zero Dawn released in February and is available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. Boasting high reviews from every major publication, Horizon Zero Dawn has been marked as a triumphant beginning for both the developer and publisher. The action role-playing experience is accentuated by a compelling open-world filled with mysteries and stories waiting to be unlocked.
