The leak regarding Skylake Core X-series processors surfaced internet yesterday, which showed Intel’s flagship processor Core i9-7980XE. Now we know that Core X-series is coming out as Intel has announced it officially, that too with prices ranging from the lowest 242 USD to the highest 1999 USD.

The leaked information yesterday about Core X-series processors did not cover the architectures involved. Now Intel has shared that product stack contains two architectures: Kabylake-X and Skylake-X. Currently, the specifications are only known for processors 7920X to 7800X as seen in the list given below.

Core X-series

 

The flagship processor Core i9 7980XE is the highest priced processor with 18 core count and 36 threads. Since Intel has officially announced it, yet Intel has to share the hardware specification of the processor. Currently, information on three Core i9 series processors remains unknown.
