AMD Radeon Software 17.7.2 version is scheduled to launch tomorrow 27 July, 2017 and it packs some additionally software features that includes the all new Enhanced Sync and Radeon Chill for laptops.
The Enhanced Sync is more like a competitior to Nvidia’s fast sync. The new Radeon Software 17.7.2 will bring an alternative to the common known VSync. It simply will give you an upper hand from screen tearing and lag.
Radeon Chill software will make its way now to mobile graphics cards with Radeon Software 17.7.2 version. Additionally, Radeon Chill feature will also be available for multi-GPU configurations and external graphics cards. Radeon Chill at its core is a frame limiting tool / software by AMD Radeon, which lowers power consumption and heat on a GPU.

In parallel news, the recent Nvidia graphics driver 384.94 WHQL fixes some known issues, adds SLI profiles for select games and fixes few Windows 10 related issues. The update also adds LawBreakers, ARK: Survival Evolved, Fortnite Early Access, Dark and Light, and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice to Game Ready for optimal gaming experience. It also adds Game Ready VR gaming experience for EVE: Valkyrie’s “Ultra” graphics update.
