The recent GeekBench scores suggest that Intel Core i9-7960X with 16 cores and 32 threads performs much better with single core. Intel after showcasing its Intel Core-X lineup has remained short on performance details, the recent leak shows that the processor shines better in single core but not so much in multi-core.

Intel Core-i9 is supposed to counter its rival processor AMD Ryzen Threadrippper. Its been a while that AMD Ryzen Threadripper are out in the blue with a lot of information on its performance. The Threadripper processor shines better in multi core performance, clearly, it packs 16 cores and 32 threads which is a high figure that Intel Core i9.
