A Chinese website has leaked the hardware specifications of Intel Core i3-8350K and Core i3-8100. The leaked data shares relevance to the datasheet of Intel. Since the data sheet source is not official, it is to be taken with a grain of salt.
The data sheet tells a base line that 8th generation Core i3-8350K and Core i3-8100 processors will have quad-cores. The two leaked Core-i3 processor variants come in overclocked and withour overclock feature. The Core i3-8350K will have base clock of 4GHz with overclock feature enabled. While the non-overclock Core i3-8100 will come with lowered base frequency of 3.6GHz.
Additionally, the leaked data sheet tells that the Core i3-8350K will have 91W TDP, while the lowered Core i3 variant i3-8100 will have 65W TDP.
From the leaked hardware specifications of Core i3-8350K and Core i3-8100, it is mentioned that both of the processors will not support Intel Turbo Boost Technology. The omission of Turbo Boost Technology maybe unnecessary, since both of the processors are speculated to be quad-core, it will fill the gap of delivering more power with Turbo Boost mode.
Both of the processors will support DDR4 memory technology with a maximum bandwidth support upto 2400MHz. Interestingly, Core i3-8350K will have DDR Overclock Capable feature, while the non-OC Core i3-8100 will miss out this feature.
Another worth noting difference between the two processors is that Core i3 K-version will sport a 8MB Intel Smart Cache size, while the other variant will be 2MB short on Smart Cache.
The entire above mentioned data and datasheet image is counted in leaks. Take it with a grain of salt, until Intel comes up and announces the Coffee Lake Core i3 variants officially.
