Intel Core i3-8300 With Four Cores and Eight Threads Spotted, Possible Rumor? The recent leak points that upcoming processor from Intel will be Intel Core i3-8300, featuring four cores and eight threads. For detailed specifications, check out the rumored below:
The quad core Core i3 upcoming lineup from Intel is in response to Ryzen 3 quad core processors. Ryzen 3 1300X and 1200 comes under $130 with four cores and four threads. The Ryzen 3 processor lineup posed direct threat to Intel processors, as they are comparatively cheap and relatively competitive in performance.
Previously, we came to know that Intel will roll out improved i3 CPUs later this year, with 4 cores, no threads and no hyperthreading. But, recent rumor tells Intel quad core processors with four cores and eight threads, which can compete the Ryzen 3 processors (if the rumor becomes true).
AMD Ryzen 3 CPUs are still a better option for obvious reasons. First, Ryzen 3 1300X and 1200 are coming out this July, with double cores and threads and if rumored prices become official, Ryzen 3 will beat the competition in terms of performance, cheapness and CPU diversity in the market.
It comes down to personal preferences, since Intel has dominated the PC market since long and AMD with Ryzen family is a rising player. But, statistically, you cannot deny how much Ryzen family offers the performance, core count, more threads with lower cost than Intel’s counterpart CPUs.AMD recently teased its Threadripper CPUs that will compete the Core X series CPUs, check out here.
