Those considering to purchase physical copies of Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will have quiet a few majestic options to choose from.

In addition to the standard release, the highly anticipated sequel from Level-5 will be accompanied by two pricier editions. These will be available only for the PlayStation 4 and residents of North America. It is also important to note that they will be released in limited quantities. Hence, it is safer to secure pre-orders as soon as possible.

The Premium Edition retails for $80 and houses a 3D papercraft kit, an exclusive DLC sword called the Dragon’s Tooth, and a soundtrack CD inside a special steelbook case. The Collector’s Edition, on the other hand, retails for $200 and includes the contents from the Premium Edition as well as a Ni no Kuni II art book, a chibi mechanical diorama, a Lofty plush, a “making of” documentary Blu-ray, a 3D papercraft display case, and the season pass.

Coming over to Europe, Ni no Kuni II will have its own special edition packages to choose from. The physical Prince’s Edition retails for £85 and comes with a making-of Blu-ray, the game’s season pass, and a steelbook case. The digital Prince’s Edition comes at £70 for both PlayStation 4 and PC, and includes the game and season pass.

There is also a King’s Edition that retails at £140 for PlayStation 4 and includes the contents of the Prince Edition in addition to a Ni no Kuni II vinyl record, a diorama figure, a music box that plays the game’s main theme, and an art book. The PC version of the same King’s Edition includes all of the aforementioned items but with a digital copy of the game at £130.

Regardless of which edition you choose, the base game will be accompanied by a Special Sword DLC that includes five rare weapons. For the standard edition, it means placing a pre-order.

As for the season pass, it can be purchased individually for $20. It will cover two “large DLC releases” as well as a supply kit that contains an assortment of helpful items for players to use. More details on the content will be revealed by the developer at a later date.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4 and PC on January 19. The sequel was originally planned for a release this fall in November but had to be pushed back in order to “deliver the full Ni no Kuni II experience.”
