Nintendo is primed and ready to bring out the big guns at Gamescom 2017 later this month in order to get everyone’s undivided attention.

Earlier today, the company announced its lineup and streaming schedules for the event. Nintendo will start off with the highly anticipated Super Mario Odyssey by showing a “fresh look at gameplay” under the careful narration of producer Yoshiaki Koizumi.

Following that will be Metroid: Samus Returns, another highly anticipated title that was only confirmed to be in development during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2017) a couple of months back. The segment will be hosted by producer Yoshio Sakamoto and creative director Jose Luis Marquez. It is assumed that fans will finally get a first look at the sequel that has been in the making for years.

Nintendo also confirmed that it will be doing live demonstrations for a number of games at Gamescom 2017. This includes Fire Emblem Warriors and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The demonstrations will be for both the attendees and audience at home, meaning that new footage should be streamed live for the world.

Elsewhere, Gamescom 2017 will see Odyssey’s Metro Kingdom and Sand Kingdom on the show floor. Other playable games include unreleased titles like Pokken Tournament DX, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle; and already available games like Arms and Splatoon 2.

In other news, Microsoft will be bringing its new Xbox One X console to the event. Those attending in person will be able to try out the hardware for the first time. The upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Origins and Far Cry 5 are confirmed to be available for on-site demonstrations.

Gamescom 2017 is scheduled to run from August 23-26 at Cologne, Germany.
