The Evil Within 2 has a few advanced features for PC, check these system requirements

Evil Within 2

With just a week to go before release, Bethesda Softworks has published the minimum and recommended system requirements for The Evil Within 2.

The sequel demands high processing power from your rig and it is recommended to run the game on either fourth-generation processors from Intel or equivalent from the Ryzen lineup of AMD. In the graphical department, players will be able to max out the visual settings on a GTX 1060 or RX 480. Take note that the developer points out high VRAM in both cases: 6GB for the former and 8GB for the latter.

Minimum Requirements

  • OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 / AMD FX-8320 or better
  • 8 GB RAM, 40GB free HDD space
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / AMD HD 7970 3GB or better

Recommended Requirements

  • OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions)
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4770 / AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or better
  • 16 GB RAM, 40GB free HDD space
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB / AMD RX 480 8GB or better

The official announcement also reveals advanced features that players will have the option to crank up in order to make the game prettier. This list includes volumetric lightning, bloom, anti-aliasing, shadows, blue, and more. There will also be a field-of-view (FOV) slider to make it easier to have better awareness of your surroundings.

It goes without saying that most of these features will be taxing on your system. Players can fiddle with the settings until the game is running as smooth as possible.
